The electricity network sector in Morocco and around the world faces a major challenge: the gradual disappearance of a generation of experts who have dedicated their entire careers to building, operating and maintaining the country's electrical infrastructure.
These experts, trained at ONEE-BE for 30 to 40 years, possess unique, often tacit and unformalized expertise that risks being lost forever with their retirement. Companies in the electricity sector—large and small—are struggling to train new technicians capable of working on HV, MV, and LV systems with the required level of expertise.
It is in this context that I created TRAGELEC Academy: a training center that brings together a community of retired experts from the electrical sector and academic teachers, to pass on this valuable know-how to new generations of technicians and working professionals.
